Deep Roots

Elijah Steinbrecher MS, MFT

As a marriage and family therapist, I believe that each of us carries with us a unique history and set of experiences that shape who we are and how we view the world. However, sometimes these experiences can lead to negative patterns of thinking and behavior that are rooted in hurt and trauma.

My goal as a therapist is to help my clients identify these patterns and work to address the underlying issues, so that they can live more fulfilling and meaningful lives. This involves exploring the root causes of their pain and trauma, and developing strategies to overcome these past experiences and create healthier patterns moving forward.

Through a Christ-centered lens, I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space where my clients can feel free to share their pain and struggles. I believe that by working together in therapy, we can uncover the truth about the wounds we carry and gain the insight and healing necessary to move forward with renewed strength and resilience.

At the heart of my work is the value that each person is created with purpose and worth, and that by seeking restoration and healing, we can tap into the fullness of our potential and live in greater joy, peace, and harmony with ourselves and our loved ones.
